A matching donation in Joy’s honor was also made in the amount of $1,000. The Foundation sincerely thanks Joy and her anonymous matching donor for their generosity. To learn about Joy and her work to raise MdDS awareness be sure to watch her segment on The Doctors TV show which aired on April 25.

We’d also like to take another opportunity to thank Mia and CC’s Cupcake Heaven for raising $1,300 for the MdDS Foundation through a special Rare Disease Day event. You can see photos and details on her Facebook page. These funds will help support much needed research and education efforts.
