You will find caring people from all over the world who understand what it is like to live with the disorder. MdDS Friends share real world advice and tips that you can actually use.We do not provide local support groups or have a healthcare provider list to share. MdDS Friends is your best avenue for getting support both online and near to you.How to Get SupportYou must have and be logged into your personal Facebook account to join ‘MdDS Friends’ on Facebook. Use a web browser to visit facebook.com/groups/MdDSfriends/. The Facebook app doesn’t always show the screening questions. It’s best to login on the Facebook website. You must have a profile photo. To ensure Group quality, accounts without one will be automatically denied. Click/tap +Join Group. Answer all parts of each screening question. If you can’t see the questions, don’t use the app. Login on the Facebook website. The support group is for the sole purpose of discussing Mal de Débarquement Syndrome and related issues. Reading and adhering to the Group Rules is a condition of membership. Furthermore, reading and adhering to our Posting Policy Terms & Conditions governs your use of this site and social media properties of the MdDS Foundation.How to Give SupportThe support group is open to MdDS patients and one support person each. A support person must apply to be a member by answering the membership questions, identifying the member they are supporting (by name), and agreeing to the Group rules. We recommend that spouses, close family members, or friends of an MdDS Warrior follow our Community Page which is public and accessible to all. Find it at facebook.com/mddsfoundation.org.
